Barnana® is committed to providing a website that people with disabilities can use with dignity, independence, and an equivalent opportunity to learn about, shop for, and contact Barnana. Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility, and we build it into our website review and improvement work.

Accessibility standard and current status

Our technical goal is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We are actively working toward that goal. Because Barnana.com changes over time and includes services supplied by other companies, we do not claim that every page, component, or third-party experience fully conforms at all times. This statement describes our current approach, known limitations, and how to get help.

Our accessibility work covers the public Barnana storefront, including navigation, product and collection content, PageFly content pages, forms, cart interactions, the store locator, Nana Gear, and this statement. Shopify-hosted checkout and account experiences and other third-party services are included in our monitoring and escalation process, although Barnana does not control all of their underlying code.

Measures we take

Barnana uses a combination of design, development, content, and testing practices, including:

• Semantic page structure, useful headings and landmarks, and clear accessible names for controls.
• Keyboard-operable navigation, forms, tabs, dialogs, product-media controls, sliders, and cart interactions, with visible focus indicators.
• Detailed text alternatives for meaningful product, packaging, ingredient, allergen, Nutrition Facts, certification, story, and instructional imagery, while decorative or duplicate images are excluded from assistive technology.
• Checks for color contrast, text resizing, responsive reflow, motion, form instructions, error handling, and dynamic content.
• Automated checks combined with manual review, keyboard testing, responsive desktop and mobile testing, accessibility-tree inspection, and targeted screen-reader-compatible checks.
• Accessibility review when material storefront changes are introduced and remediation of verified regressions.

Optional accessibility tools

Barnana.com includes an optional accessibility interface. Its controls can adjust text size, line height, cursor size, fonts, animation, brightness, contrast, saturation, grayscale and selected color combinations. It can also provide tooltips, reading line and mask aids, link highlighting, text reading, page-structure information, image hiding, and color inversion.

These preferences may help some visitors, but they supplement accessible site code and content; they do not establish compliance and are not required to request support. Barnana remains responsible for receiving and addressing accessibility feedback about our website. We do not ask visitors to contact the tool provider instead of Barnana.

Compatibility and technical information

We aim to support current versions of major browsers, browser zoom and text resizing, keyboard-only use, and commonly used device accessibility features and screen readers. The site relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA where appropriate. Some content and functions are delivered through Shopify, PageFly, and other third-party services; results can vary with older browsers, unsupported combinations, custom settings, or unavailable JavaScript.

How we assess the site

Barnana conducts self-evaluation using automated and manual methods. Current review practices include representative desktop and mobile browser checks, keyboard navigation, accessibility-tree inspection on macOS, targeted VoiceOver-compatible checks, and inspection of meaningful image descriptions across published product media. Automated tools help identify issues but are not used as the sole basis for determining accessibility.

No single test can cover every browser, device, assistive technology, or individual need. Dedicated Windows and NVDA regression testing has not yet been completed for every storefront workflow, so we welcome reports from those environments and will investigate them.

Known limitations and available alternatives

Despite our efforts, visitors may encounter barriers. Current areas of continuing improvement include:

• Some Nana Gear instructions and legacy content remain image-based. Detailed text alternatives are provided where identified, and more HTML-first presentation remains an improvement goal.
• The site’s app-controlled promotional ticker does not currently provide a visitor-facing pause control.
• Legacy, dynamically injected, PageFly-generated, and third-party content may occasionally have inconsistent heading structure, keyboard behavior, labeling, or status announcements after an update.
• Accessibility in Shopify-hosted checkout, account features, maps, reviews, and other third-party services can vary because Barnana does not control all source code.

If any of these issues prevents you from getting information or completing a task, email info@barnana.com. We will work with you to provide the information, product details, or reasonable assistance through another accessible format or channel where possible.

Feedback and escalation

We welcome specific reports because they help us find and fix real barriers. Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, what happened, and—if you choose—the browser, device, or assistive technology involved. You may also tell us your preferred alternative. You do not need to provide medical information or explain the nature of a disability.

Send accessibility feedback to info@barnana.com with the subject “Accessibility Support.” If an accessibility concern is not resolved, reply to the same conversation and request accessibility escalation so the issue can be reviewed again.

Third-party content and services

Barnana uses services provided by Shopify, PageFly, store-locator, review, and accessibility-interface vendors. We include those experiences in practical testing and report verified barriers when vendor action is required. Third-party tools and overlays supplement—but do not replace—Barnana’s accessibility responsibilities, manual testing, or direct support for visitors.

Statement maintenance

This statement is maintained by Barnana and was last reviewed on August 27, 2026. We plan to review it after material site changes and as part of recurring accessibility audits. Our approach is informed by the W3C guidance for developing accessibility statements, WCAG 2.2, and the U.S. Department of Justice guidance on web accessibility and the ADA.

This page is a practical status and support statement, not a certification that every experience is error-free. Accessibility is an ongoing process, and Barnana will continue to improve the site as standards, technology, content, and customer needs evolve.
